- Conifer. No cable. CenturyLink covers 76.7%, Mountain Broadband 99.7% and NETEO fixed wireless 58.6% at up to 1 Gbps.
- Bailey. Highline fiber covers 34.7% at 1 Gbps. CenturyLink covers 77.3% and Rise fixed wireless 66.2%.
- Woodland Park. TDS covers 92.8% at 1 Gbps. FORETHOUGHT.net fiber covers 38.8% and Vero fiber 41%, both at 4 Gbps.

Does Starlink work in the Colorado mountains?
- Coverage is complete on the map. BroadbandNow shows Starlink at 100% of Evergreen, Conifer, Bailey and Woodland Park addresses.
- Trees and ridges decide it on the lot. A dish needs a clear view of the sky. A lot in heavy timber or a narrow gulch needs a site check before you count on it.
- Fixed wireless needs a line of sight too. Mountain Broadband, NETEO and Rise beam service from towers, so a ridge between the house and the tower blocks it.
Is Colorado paying to bring more internet to the mountains?
- $420.6 million in BEAD funding. That is Colorado's final federal Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment funding, per the Colorado Broadband Office.
- One award was pulled. On September 21, 2026 the state rescinded a $103 million BEAD award to Maverix covering 10,232 locations, including Livermore in Larimer County.
- Those locations get rebid. The Colorado Sun reported the canceled locations go back out for new awards.
How do you confirm internet before you buy a mountain home?
- Pull the address on each provider's site. Cable, fiber and fixed wireless providers quote by street address.
- Ask the seller for a bill. A recent bill shows the provider, plan and speed the house runs on today.
- Run a speed test at the showing. Test on the home's Wi-Fi and on your phone's cell signal.
- Plan a backup. Pair a wired or fixed wireless plan with Starlink when the job depends on video calls.
